Whitchurch Chamber of Trade held its Caribbean themed summer party at Greenfields care home as the guests of Coverage Care, organised by Network PR.


Guests include the Mayor of Whitchurch, Councillor Alan Chesters, Mrs Linda Bate, Chair of Whitchurch Chamber of Trade, David Coull, Chief Executive of Coverage Care and the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP for North Shropshire.

Care Awards Champion

World snooker champion and TV personality John Parrott was the guest at the 2009 Shropshire Care Awards organised by Network PR for Shropshire Partners in Care.

 

200 guests enjoyed a glittering evening at the Prostar Stadium in Shrewsbury, where 12  awards were up for grabs. Pictured is Alex Turner from Allcare who collected the Care Ambassador of the Year award from the sponsor Claire Smout from the Care Workforce Development Partnership, another client of Network PR.

Guest speaker John Parrott said: “These are some of the hardest working and most caring people I have ever met. It makes me feel quite humble as they look after some of the most vulnerable and elderly in our community and we congratulate them for doing such a fantastic job. They are all winners as far as I am concerned.”

Now in its fourth year, the Shropshire Care Awards has grown to become recognised as the most important date in the calendar for the independent care sector in the county.
